Silhouette cutting is almost a lost art. This was a popular pastime in George Washington's day. Using the same techniques and fine craftsmanship as the artists did 200 years ago, artists create permanent high quality records of you and your guests. Silhouettes are especially appropriate at wedding receptions, anniversary parties, and any event in which you would like to present your guests with a sophisticated and tasteful gift. Silhouette artists are available for $150 per hour; silhouettes are cut from black silhouette paper, mounted on card stock, and placed in 8"x10" oval-cut mats. Artists cut 15 silhouettes per hour.
